Alison Doody
Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland is a model and actor. Doody made her acting debut in a Bond movie, A View to a Kill in 1985. In 1989 she played an archaeologist with Nazi sympathies Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Siobhan donavan was part of A Prayer for the Dying in 1987, Charlotte appeared in Taffin (in 1998) and Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Approached by a photographer Doody began to model, which turned into a career in commercial modelling. Doody was extremely determined not to do the glamorous work or doing nude. This rule extended into the acting profession. If she came to the director's attention in the role in a James Bond film, Doody took on a part for a small part in A View to a Kill (1985). Doody's name appeared within John Willis Screen World Vol. 12 which features the most promising young actors from 1986. 38. Doody was just turning 18 years old when she was given the character of Bond girl. She is still the youngest Bond girl. Another film from her early days had her in a minor role in a small role as IRA member Siobhan Donovan on A Prayer for the Dying (1987) which was a film starring Mickey Rourke. Doody was Archibald Craven's wife Lilias, in his dream in the 1987 adaptation of The Secret Garden. The Storyteller's episode Sapsorrow was her first lead part. It took place in 1988 with John Hurt, Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders. The actress starred alongside Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Elsa Schneider, an Austrian Nazi sympathiser and a archaeologist from the forensic field in the 1989 movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. The film also starred Sean Connery as Indy's father Doody has acted alongside three actors who have portrayed James Bond. Doody costarred with Jonathan Pryce, in the British miniseries Selling Hitler. The series was an inspiration for The Hitler Diaries publishing scam. Doody then relocated to Hollywood. She was Flannery her agent as well as partner for Major League II. She had been chosen as an alternative to Cybill Shepherd, who had been L'Oreal's spokesperson. Doody made her acting comeback in 2003, playing a small role in her role in the British comedy The Actors, in which Michael Caine played herself at the awards ceremony. Her roles include a TV film version of King Solomon's Mines in 2004, a booklet about the Holocaust and the short film Benjamin's Struggle in 2005. Doody filming a character in the film of Danny Dyer, The Rapture. The following year, she had been scheduled scheduled to take on the role of lead for The Asphyx remake, but this project did not go ahead.
